This movie is pretty good, but not as good as some of the other movies I've seen (ex. Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter). A lot of guns for a PG movie, but not as much as Star Wars.

Uhh... (1 out of 10 )
Well, that script had absolutely nothing to do with the actual movie. None of the names (except, like, two) were the same, none of the events were the same, and it had CURSING in it! This should be removed right away and either replaced with the actual script, or not put back up at all. The movie was amazing.

This script is completely different from the movie if you have seen it.

Reader (6 out of 10 )
The script itself was good but is it for real? Is this what it originally sought out to be? It was too quick and we couldn't connect with the characters as well. However, it had a sense of realism with the actions, violence, and language. Not sure how it went from this to a child's movie. Fairly good script. Movie was better. It wasn't accurate to the movie, although I'm still not sure if it's actually suppose to be the original at all.

Lisa (4 out of 10 )
This is actually the script for Mastermind, which was originally planned as a live-action adult comedy with Ben Stiller as the title character. It didn't get made but they later adapted it as Megamind. It's interesting to read and most of the major characters and plot elements are there, but the tone is completely different. In this form it's just another raunchy comedy instead of a really unique, charming and affectionate superhero movie with beautiful animation.

The movie was really good. This script looks like something a couple of high school losers would have put together. This is nowhere close to the movie except for some stray almost similarities. Glad the movie didn't follow this script, it would have been horrible.

I enjoyed the movie a lot. I didn't like this script though. It just looked like another trashy R-rated comedy. But, I'm glad Dreamworks took over. Now I have a great movie for watching on long car trips.

Right away we see the beginning starting out completely different (not the cute baby beginnings we see in the cartoon), the names are terrible, we're kind of taken aback by the swearing, and [Megamind] seems rather mean (grabbing at people's throats). So glad Dreamworks did what they did in the end. As a note on Lisa's comment, I don't think I'd have liked it even as a live-action comedy. And really, this script should not be under the title of Megamind, it's Mastermind for you people who like scripts that were never made into movies. I love Megamind. It's witty. This script is not witty.
